i have a d16z6 vitara 75.5 build w/eagle h beams rods. stock ready 2 install timing belt.
this is oe build running na for a while till i get turbo kit.
running stock ecu.
is a adj cam gear necessary?
can i set it up at oe cam marks and crank timing marks?

so can i use oem timing marks for my timing belt tdc. without advancing or retarding the cam gear? running w/ vitaras???
do i have to do anything like advance/retard cam gear???

OR can it run okay w/just stock marks lining up timing cam gear/pulley???

 

just line it up... Unless you have a Y8 head or something

 

the pistons have nothing to do with timing marks.
