Default sol d15b7 engine from auto trans to 5spd

hello people ,well i will start by saying that i was thinking i blew up the head gasket on my 93 del sol s because i saw too much white smoke so took my engine head apart just to find out one of the pistons was basically melted and welded to the left side of the cylinder (i will post pics after work)well now im ready to take the tranny out and the block ....i called a yunkyard near me and they have a d15b7 from a 92 civic with auto trans .....Now i want to know if this engine will bolt on on my 5 spd without mods or extra parts.... any help is appreciated thankz.....!

Better go over that old '92 engine with a fine tooth comb.
Just get the long block and put your manifolds/flywheel on it. I always put a few drops of loctite blue on the torque plate/flywheel bolts. The auto bolts are different in length from the manual bolts so use your manual bolts.
The '92 intake had some differences as is being complained about in another thread (intake manifold and MAP sensor vacuum/wiring connections).

That's why I'm recommending swapping manifolds. Then it will be plug n play. A lot of work though and make sure you have torque wrenches. You'll need them.
Also, while its out, do the rear main seal and check your transmission input shaft bearings/seals. Anything that's accessible you are well advised to service.
Other than that I think you'll be fine.
Too bad you're in NJ I'd buy the auto trans off you.

'92 - '93 D15B7s both had a firewall mounted MAP sensor.

Yes the engine will work fine, simply swap over your clutch and flywheel.

Well then nevermind all that manifold nonsense.
