Hey, i have a password jdm power chamber (whale *****) intake on my b16. i am going to purchase the NOS sniper wet shot fogger kit. i read a few how to install guides and i understand how it works, but everyone had a metal intake that they tapped the fitting into. can i still use my Carbon fiber intake or will it blow out immediately when the nitrous shoots? any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

You have a CF intake manifold?

Or do you mean CF short ram/CAI?

It's a cf intake short ram type thing. Apparently you're supposed to hook the nitrous up before the throttle body in the intake. But if I'm gonna tap a hole in the cf I just want to make sure it won't blow out. It's a 92 civic hatch with a b16 wiseco 11.5:1 .20 over pistons blox intake mani and competition 2 cams. Arp main rod and head studs. Hondata s300 and skunk 2 66 mil tb.

Just get ya a air filter that's made with the nipple on the end made to spray nos

 

It will not be a problem, although because it is CF, tapping it will be an issue, you will need to install a nut on the inside to hold the fogger nozzle, on a short ram that should not be too hard, nozzle needs to be at least 6" from the TB. 94
