Default GReddy kit owners...anyone retarded the timing?

I just wanted to know if any of you guys retarded the timing while still using the GReddy FCU (Blue box)? If so, what's your timing at now? Mines at 14 degrees since I'm using 91 octane gas.

Thanks in advance...

Well, call me retarded, but I'm running stock timing (was at 9psi for a few days, though it was sketchy) and now at 7psi, and no problems that I can tell. I am, however, installing a 6btm, tomorrow, so it won't really be an issue

Yeah, boost is addictive...but I don't trust the blue box for anything higher than the stock boost setting. The thoughts of a blown motor makes me keep the boost low for now.

Perhaps someone with some insight how the MSD boost timing units (or J&S safeguard) units retard timing can answer this question?

I wasn't aware you could run stock timing on 91 octane. Is anyone doing this and monitoring their knock sensor / EGT?

Thanks
