Default Straight piped cars???

I am looking for an exhaust setup to put on a Turbo LS, and I have heard many times that turbo cars sound nice with full 100% straight pipes, What are you guys running and how does it sound through the rpm's?

I'm running a 3 inch down pipe to a full 3 inch exhaust, Vibrant resonator and muffler. No cat.

It's loud at high RPM's but no louder than a typical cat back (Skunk, Tanabe, ect) during normal driving.

It'd probably be a little quieter with another resonator and/or Magnaflow muffler.

What are your power goals? When I had a mild turbo build I ran a 2.25 inch system, which was really quiet; still no cat.

I've got a turbo LS. I have a 3 inch downpipe going into an OBX high flow resignator (no cat) and then 3 inch all the way back to a 3 inch in/out dynomax turbo muffler. I've had two exhaust tickets when I was NA, but after going turbo and having this exhaust I've had several cops follow me and never pulled over, so I'm trying to say its nice and quiet. At higher RPMs when I get on it I hear the engine in the background but mainly my turbo spooling (such a beautiful sound) until my WG opens, and that's just a straight pipe down into atmosphere so then it gets really loud, thankfully there haven't been any cops around when my WG opens lol.

Right now i drive a Turbo da9 with a DSM 16g 2.3" downpipe, high flow cat,2.3" main pipe,3.3 inch can.It sounds like its cutting your ears with a sharp knife when i really get it .Lol,I love it..
I had a b16eg turbo with a turbonetics t66 straight piped with 2" piping,2.5" can, and the only thing I can really say that's different is the feel of it.feels a little beefier, rumbly, didn't really like how loud it was.the popos don't either, and its reassuring to be able to tell them to get down on their knees and look at my cat before they try to give me a ticket because my exhaust is "too loud".my **** is legit,yo.

Thanks guys, I now have just full 3" straight pipe off the turbo, and surprisingly it is not too loud, it just smells. I am planning to go with a 3" vibrant in the near future though.
