Driver's window "Auto Down" not working
I tried searching for this and couldn't find any answers. Service manual didn't seem to have any answers.
Sedan - all power windows go up and down just fine. The only thing not working correctly is the "auto" one-touch function for the driver's window.
Upon searching the web it looks like certain cars need to be "reprogrammed" after disconnecting the battery. Basically just a series of steps of putting the window down and then up. Couldn't get that to work.
Anyone have any ideas? Is it just a bad master window switch?

Could be a few things, and you might need to get your hands dirty. How comfortable are you with vehicle electrical? I have diagnosed this problem twice on two different cars (both were hatchbacks undergoing a power conversion): Once it was a bad connection (BLU wire) at the PW motor/actuator; I took apart the motor and fixed it. Second time it was a bad switch - didn't have a chance to diagnose whether it was fixable, though I suspect not (also, not my car).
Thanks for the reply. I'm not super comfortable with electrical, but I can work a multimeter. I just found it odd that for testing the switch, the service manual makes no mention of the auto feature, never mind diagnosing it.
Wish I had a known good switch to try - that would answer that part of it really quickly.
So there is definitely no programming/reset necessary for the feature on this car?

^ true. That's how I figured out the problem the second time (bad switch). But, the first time I did not have that option (like you) but tracing the wiring through the PW motor led me to find the problem. (I think it was a misaligned brush?) I can only suggest that you do the same. And being able to understand a multimeter is more than half the battle when it comes to vehicle electrical. "Ohming out" - figuring out if a wire is connected by checking if its resistance is zero - is probably 90% of the time I log on a multimeter when I do vehicle electrical.
There is no way to 'reset' the switch.

Okay I finally got a new master switch to try - didn't fix the problem. So it must be a wiring issue.
Can you give me some more detailed instructions as to how to test? The problem has to simply be between the master switch connector and the window motor, correct?
(Also I'm not sure what you mean by misaligned brush.)

Pull apart the motor at the driver's side window actuator and look for problems or misalignment, etc.

I had a similar problem. The switch contacts were just gunked up. Remove the switch assembly, and clean the contacts. I sprayed WD40 in there while working the switches back and forth. Just disconnect the electrical plug first.

I have 2005 accord with driver power window problems as well. I have now replaced the window regulator for the second time in a year. The window starts off only working sometimes and then half a minute later it works again, gradually getting slower and slower until it stops altogether.
I hear a clicking sound when driving and from researching think its a circuit breaker in the regulator motor that breaks and resets after several seconds.
What is causing this to happen? Have others come up against this issue and how was it resoved?

Okay so I'm not sure how, exactly. Tested continuity for all 4 connections inside the motor and they were all fine.
Otherwise I merely took the windings (armature?) out, cleaned things up a bit and put it back together.
So perhaps something was misaligned, as you said. Thanks for the suggestion of taking the motor apart; I wouldn't have thought to do that.
Anyway I've got my Auto Down back. Thanks guys.
