Default Relocating battery, how to wire starter wire to battery with high output alternator?

I am halfway in the process of relocating my battery to my trunk. I can't really run it through the stock fusebox because of the H/O alt. So as of now I have 4ga running from alt to battery with a 100amp fuse 4 inches away from battery. Now my problem is how am I going to wire my starter wire? Could I just extend it and make it go to the trunk and weld the stock one to it? Please help since I see people running the battery wire to the starter but using stock fusebox. I have a 2000 Civic btw. Thanks!

So what fuse size did you use for each wire in the distribution box?

Also is it ok to run the alternator wire to the starter with a fuse block and have another wire running from the starter to the battery in the trunk?

I don't think you want to do that. you ever started you car while the engine is already running? that is what its going to do.

you dont need a distribution block from battery to fuse and starter, i put one there for easy disconnect. if you dont use one make sure you solder and wrap it up good

my distribution block looked like this

Why would it do that, isn't it basically the same thing as connecting it directly to the battery?

I saw it on here, can you please clarify.

I don't want to run too many wires, so if I do it my way (the one in the link) what wires would you suggest for me to install a fuse box? Alt. to Starter Wire, Starter to Relocated Battery Wire?

I already have 4 gauge but where should I put the fuses at? The wire from starter to battery or starter to alternator or both?
