Ah, only saw a couple pictures at first. Good luck on the rebuild and kudos to you for doing a lot of the work yourself.
Looking forward to the story; bike damage to that extent is usually associated with rider injury too

the bike was horizontal to the road and my foot just slipped (i was wearing some vans) and my hands were still on the handle bar (the throttle was still open) and i was hanging on it like superman. Next thing i knew i was sliding down my bike at 50 + mph and i only saw my gas tank and my seat since i was so freggin scared and my face was against it. then i noticed that the bike was falling back (almost like it was about to do a slow back flip) i had no choice but to push th bike away from me and start rolling. so i was somewhere still in the 45 through 50 mph range when i started rolling (noticed that i only wore an ICON FIELD ARMOR VEST, TEE SHIRT, JEANS , MY HELMET AND MY ALPINESTAR GLOVES). I had road rash from mid tri ceps to my wrist on my left arm, big o gash on my elbows( i could of swore i saw my bones!!!) road rash on my left but cheek and gashed up my ankles. my friend was riding his yamaha R1 and witnessed the whole thing he said it tumbled and rolled about 50 yrds. i thought i had rolled so many times (my buddy says only bout six times. when i was rolling i only saw the black road and the amber poles that light up the road imagine that over and over six times. so i blacked out for a sec and woked up belly on the road i got up and my arms were dripping water!!!???? i was like what i didnt see any water on the road. then to figure, i guessed the road effed up my skin that my sweat layer showed. i walked to my bike and looked at it while i was daze like a ****! i thought it looked fine until i saw the front wheel touching the front wheel.
then i was like what the f**k. after that i called up some people and my buddy with a truck and his homies picked up my wrecked bike and tossed it on the bed of the truck. three and a half weeks later i got laid off my second job and didnt know it i would be able to put my baby back together (effed up thing is my insurance had cancel my policy two days earlier, they failed to give me a notice and i was pretty much assed out), so i started to part out the little things like to rear signals. i purchased the HONDA HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL and i thought to my self if i could swap motors on a car this moto frame swap would be a cinch! and here i am.

Anywho....Did you pay off the bike? Or still making payments?
A buddy of mine did a similar stunt and ended up wrecking the bike.
Now he's making payments on a bike that he doesn't even ride...and had no insurance.
LOL...got enough hammers there? Ok, here's one more.

damn good luck with the rebuild.
i got the ducati frame for $300
looks like i got a sweet deal (thought i over paid!)
is that a plastic tank? if it's metal it looks like its still usable. needs paint/dent removal.
i like how you counted your tool set into the bike build
