Default Civic eg battery drain issue

I have a 95 civic that I just put a new battery in a few weeks ago. Everything has worked fine since and when I walked out to start the car today after it had been sitting for 4 hrs it wouldn't even hesitate. When key was in ignition position no lights would work. I jumped it off my truck and everything was fine. Let it sit another 2 hrs and tried to start it again with nothing. Jumped it and it was fine again. Does anyone know what could be the culprit for this? Thanks for any help

Check your alternator.

Id do that by taking it off and to your local Vatozone or O'reilys and have them test it.
You could also have a Ground wire on your engine not getting full contact to the chassis.
Search this forum this has been covered before.

After you jumped your car the first time, how long did you leave it running? A quick jump isn't going to instantly recharge a battery.

Voltage testing the charging system:

With the engine idling, measure the voltage across the two battery posts (1) with all electrical accessories off versus (2) with the high beams on and the cabin blower running on max. Post those two voltage readings.
