Civic 1997 battery issues, Help Please!
I have a 1997 Civic Hatchback DX. I live in MN. The weather is getting colder here. I had my car in the garage. It was sitting for 2 days in the garage. I didn't touch it until today and when I tried to start it it wouldn't start. So I jumped it and it was working fine. I let it sit for 15min just to recharge and when I turned it off and try starting it again it died. I jumped it a second time and let it sit for another 30minutes and turned it off and try starting it but the car didn't start. I am clueless now. Before all this happen it was driving fine and had no battery issues. I am sure that nothing is wrong with the alternator and start. I'm guessing it's the battery? I forgot to mention that I just bought the battery a year ago so I don't know why it's acting up on me.
Today: I am going to bring the battery to a local auto shop to check if the battery is still good. Let's all hope it is, don't want to spend $100.
Help would be greatly appreciated, and please if you're here to bash on me just click the back button and save yourself some time.
Thanks!

If you bought the battery from a major retailer like autozone, check if the battery is still under warranty. Everytime I went they gave me a hard time on getting it switched out, but if its under warranty, theycant say anything.

Have the charging system checked along with the battery..
If your output is to high, you can fry the battery..
Could be why its acting up all of a sudden..
You got a volt meter?
Jump the car and check what the alternator is giving that terminal..

Just hope it didn't feeze while it was dead outside. Once it looses charge and feezes the battery is toast.
They will load test and charge if for you. You should have some sort of warranty, good luck.

Hey thanks everyone for the suggestions. I am greatly appreciated. I forgot about the warranty, LOL. Thanks 97 ek coupe! I found my receipt for the battery and I have warranty on it. I went to a local Autozone and gave them the battery. They're charging it at the moment. If it doesn't come out good then I will be getting a new battery. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the help.
