Help Me out !!! Smoke in exhaust
watch the video and let me know what is causing this smoke i need to fix.. 1994 honda civic lx sedan currently using 10w30 oil no leaks at all so idk what could be the problem it runs good but just throws out alot of smoke

yeah i estimate about mmmm in like 2 maybe 3 weeks i have to put more oil like fill up the whole thing and i have no idea how to test it or where to go to test it. i know my car needs a new CAT could that be the reason y
You can rent the tools from an autoparts store. If you check the FAQs at the top of the page there are links to outline how to perform both tests. I'm thinking your rings are shot. Maybe go straight for the leakdown test.
The black smoke is fuel, the blue/grey smoke is oil, white normally means water getting in the cylinders. Maybe the white you see is just steam from starting your car up then reving it right after. Not really a good thing to do.

No, you need to read the FAQs for how to do a compression test, and a leakdown test. No head removal required.
