y left speaker doesn't work. Its located in the driver side door panel i got a 97 civic ex i checked the fuses and wiring already...do u got any other suggestions on where i can check.The rest of my speakers work except for that only one in my left door panel.WHat can be the problem.... ??????...-thanks...

 

Have you pulled the speaker out and tested it? Most of the time if the system is stock, it is a blown speaker.

 

yea i already tested the speaker...it works fine..and i took another speaker and tested it w/that side and it didnt work..im thinkin it might be the wiring but i checked the wiring already and didnt see nothing odd.any more suggestions?

 

take a meter and check for continuity..there might be a break between your door panel wire and the actual deck..

before you do however, check the connections at the back of the deck..wiggle them if you have to, and fix/sauder/reconnect anything that isn't a 100% connection

well, my bro was complaining that only one speaker was working. We check the connections and everything was tight. Then I checked his Sony deck and found that the settings were set to only play on one side. That's why only 1 speaker was playing!
