Default Do you guys think this cast manifold would clear the CRX hood?

Has anyone successfully ran this manifld on there car in an ef with d16 and NOT needed to run a wastegate elbow??

Im hoping the wastegate clears the hood with no elbow

Would this manifolds wastegate placement clear a crx hood??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cast-Turbo-M...271b53&vxp=mtr

Almost seems like it may, but the t3 flange seems to be on a weird angle, could you run the compressor on the drivers side with a flange cocked like this??

Just trying to understand why you're trying to reinvent the wheel. All the boosted CRX's to reference, and you're having so much trouble buying a manifold that already is proven to work?

I want one without an elbow, pretty simple. And this company appears to have made a design that may let that happen.

No trouble trying to find someone who has used it with or without success under the stock hood

You really think this is a "company"? They just import Chinese junk. Notice how their name isn't anywhere ON the manifold? Your BEST bet is to find out what this manifold is a knockoff of and start looking there.

BTW. It's a CXRacing manifold (at least the one if the picture is). You might wanna contact them.

You already have this same topic posted in the FI forum where it belongs and where you've been given excellent advice.
