Default dumps boost some times but not all the time

when I go into boost some times it just dumps it, not sure but I cannot seem to figure out why ive checked my wg line couplers and boost controller what would be another cause of this. It seems to only happen in 2nd and 3rd gear. I dont always lose boost but when i do i do it big and falls on face
im seeing about 12 to 16 psi before it completly drops to 0
here a break down

00 EM1
s300
b16 built
omni70mm tb sk2 inman
3' custom piping
pte 5857 BB
pte 46mm wg
manual boost control (xenocron) directly to intake manifold not teed and ziptied.
JDL top mount JDL 3'' dp and dt everything vaband
any ideas ive presurre checked the system as well

Your mbc shouldn't be plumbed to the intake manifold at all. You do not want the wastegate seeing vacuum, but boost reference only. You may have damaged the wastegate. Another thought though, BOV getting stuck open?

This is not correct, you can give the wastegate a source from the Compressor, Charge Pipes or the intake manifold...the only difference will be the amount of boost or the signal the Wastegate sees because of pressure drop across your piping and intercooler. No damage will occur from hooking the wastegate to the intake manifold.

OP...any chance you can datalog with S300, and post a screen shot of the boost falling off or post your log file and calibration...people would be much more apt to be able to give you a better diagnosis with this info.

Interesting theory "Xenocron", but I assUme you don't do very much endurance racing?

I figured because when it was tuned I had your guys check everything out and the source seemed to do just fine where else would be a more beneficial spot for a signal?

once this rain stops ill pull her out and give her a wirl.

Straight from the compressor housing's boost reference port. If your turbo lacks one, it's simple to add one by removing the comp housing, drill and tap it, and install the fitting. I bought my fitting at Lowes. Teflon tape the threads before installing.

It really doesnt matter where...from the turbo directly will give you the least boost off wastegate spring only.

Intake manifold will give you more boost off wastegate spring only.

Again, this is because the "Signal" sent to the wastegate is different at each port.

Since there is roughly 1-3 psi drop on most typical street setups...if you put the boost source on the intake manifold with a 7 psi spring, it should boost 7 psi (while its approximately 10psi at the turbo. BUT, if you put the source at the Turbo outlet, the boost pressure will be roughly 4-6 psi on the same setup, because while boost is 7psi (and opening the wastegate here) at the turbo, its still only 4-6 psi at the intake manifold.

Again, it doesnt really matter...most peoples preference is based on space and plumbing.

I have never read before that vacuum on the bottom port of an external wastegate can cause problems or should be avoided.

If this is true then it should be the same for putting pressure to the top port of the wastegate as well?

If its a diaphragm that made to withstand 2+ bar of boost, how on earth can you claim that less that 1 bar of vacuum would damage it?
