Default Been awhile since i've posted. Here's a few new things!(LOTS of PHOTOS *warning*)

so if some of you guys remember I went turbo on my jdm b18b last year.
didn't really get to update it so much, but i had the car tuned back in feb. and made 217hp / 200tq @ 8psi with 91 octane on a dynajet.
It was tuned by Kevin @ Whitfield racing in Upland, California. The motor blew 2 days after while doing a freeway pull, Piston ringland in cylinder 3 gave out and the other pistons had hairline cracks in the ringlands, all caused by a bad tune. :/

so after that i rebuilt the motor from the ground up minus head work.
Heres pictures;

On the dyno at whitfield.

After the pistons gave out.

Engine apart.

and the rebuild process.
Invoice at Golden Eagle for parts and machine work. They are very good with customer service and became very good friends with them(they also gave me good prices).

a few new parts for the block and rotating assembly.

Block bored and honed, decked, with block guard installed.

GE block guard.

Head resurfaced and cleaned.

OEM honda seals and gasket.

Crank Micro Polished.

pistons / crank / bearings in. *my stupid *** put the headgasket on upside down. Luckly for LS's though its pretty much symmetrical.

Head on and torqued with cams and gears on aswell.

New timing belt, tensioner and water pump.

Motor pretty much assembled and almost ready to be re-installed.

Motor just about to be dropped in. *at this point, i didn't have caps to block off the fittings on the valve cover so i had to loop it. I didn't end up using it for venting because i ended up selling my catch can to a friend.

Engine in and connecting all the necessary things.

When re-installed my axles this happened, smashed with the lower control arms. Good ol paper towel and tape to keep it from bleeding everywhere. lol

Blood, sweat, and no tears.

Everything connected and engine running, ready for break in.

After putting about 200 miles on the engine, rings were pretty much seated. I took it to the local canyons at GMR.
Then bam, literally 2 days after a fresh oil change from break in i bust the oil pan by running over a giant rock. :bang:
Took it apart the next day and picked up another oil pan and got it tapped by my fab. guy *Jason Noren @ Jason Noren Fabrications.

And finally, after about 2000 miles i got the engine retuned by Import Auto Pros in Westminister.
2 hours on the dyno.

Engine specs:
jdm b18b
Acl Race Bearings
ARP head studs
golden eagle block guard
Nippon pistons / rings 81.5mm
All machine work done by Golden Eagle.

.003" piston to wall clearance
blue printed block.

265.7whp / 232tq @ 10 psi on 91 octane tuned on Hondata.

Although my down pipe is 3" my piping is 2.5" but my muffler is 2 1/4, it restricts it alot, power gradually builds vs. a nice spike in power/tq. because the turbo doesnt spool as fast.

eventually im going to go with a bigger muffler for a more free flowing exhaust.

and here is a little video of my car from lastnight.

enjoy and thanks for looking!

how does the block guard work for you? It seems like water flow is restricted when the head gasket is placed. Some one enlighten me because this does look very legit as a setup.
