Default H22 EK Hasport Mounts - ANOTHER Axle Issue

H22 Swapped EK
Hasport Mounts (Not Sure what exact model they are - IDK How to tell)
DA Passenger Side Axle
Yonaka Passenger Side Axle

I was always using DA axle set up with my car, when i had avid mounts installed. Since i switched to the hasport mounts, then i began to have a very... very slight vibration... It was bearable.

Now since i had LSD installed, the DA axle won't lock in... Even with C clip spread. So i bought a yonaka h22 swap axle for my chassis. The axle bind is outrageous and shakes horribly in between roughly 20-40 mph.

I have -1.2 Driver side camber, and -1.8 Passenger side camber.

Does anyone know how to tell the what model hasport mounts i have without removing them?
Cam someone tell me the axle length compressed for each hasport mount set up for passenger and driver's side axles?
How much axle should stick out of the hub when pushed in as far as possible?
Think the amount of camber could be the issue?

Why did you change mounts? And I personally would front the money on some nice axles that would not have issues.

--- I parted out my old h22t hatch that was track only, and sold the DSS stage 3.9 axles with hubs, and decided to keep the hasport mounts because Avid did me dirty with a contest i won online and they decided not to honor it. Called them out multiple times and they made up lame excuses and then erases the comment all together. In a nut shell.

As for getting new axles, the yonaka are brand new. No reason to spend another 300$ on an identical but different branded axle. Any stage 1 h22 axle that companies provide are stock integra axles with the inner hub changed to the h22 one so it locks into the trans.

--- I know what they look like, but iirc they have 3 different models that move the motor around in various directions. IE. more drivers side space, more firewall space, and more passenger side space.

My ek hatch is using the ^ mounts and hasport axles with vibration only when my rpm is 1k to 1.7k when rolling but im letting the wheels sit with stock height and no camber kits since the axle are only designed for that level. Maybe try changing the cambering.

--- funny that you say that about the camber kit...

Check out a thread I made a few hours ago about the came kit idea.

The 5mm outward might be your proablem becuz the axle would have more play due to not being more compressed causing the vibrating at the speed you mentioned.

90-93 Accord Midshaft, 88-89 Acura Integra Driver Side Axle, 88-89 Acura Integra Passenger side axle with Accord Inner Joint... 88-89 Axles are 1/2" shorter then DA, Everything else is the same... other then non ABS

--- DA axles are actually longer than a DC axle when compared side by side compressed. Believe me, i have done quite a bit of research on axles for this set up. I USED to run DA axles both sides, with DA inner with widened C clip and it was fine. Until qauife went in the transmission and it would no longer lock in.

Then instead of swapping the inner, i just bought a swap axle in order to "get the problem over with". Yet i am still back at square one... No more axle popping out with the LSD in and my expensive oem fluid draining on the ground, but still horrible shaking.

you should always buy your axles and mounts from the same company so that the geometry is always correct. mixing brand axles an mounts will cause issues 80% of the time.

Think the amount of camber could be the issue?

post a picture of the mount kit you have and i will tell you what version it is
22"
with the car sitting on the ground. remove the axle nut. push the axle in as far as it will go. ideal length is flush with the hub. the axle can be in 1/4" or out 1/4" and still be within spec
super slammed cars contribute to the extreme axle angle and causes extra problems

--- Well after doing research, lots of people including a local car friend had no luck with hasport mounts and hasport axles combo. IIRC he ended up going DSS after speaking with them and they got him a set that worked.

This is the only pictures i have available atm. If they aren't good enough, i'll get one later of the passenger side mount.

Also the current height of my car.

What transmission are you using cause iirc the m2b4 case is about 1 inch wider towards the passenger side of the car which could cause a problem.. Idk if that helps but thought i would throw that out there.

--- M2B4 is the only trans like that and it uses a different type of "lsd", it's completely different than the other non SH trans... No though, i am not M2B4.
