Default B20 swap cant read CEL

got a 96 teggy with b20b swap from japan, ls tranny and what not. same ecu just dropped it in runs good but cel is on and code reader dont work? anyone know why?

i got the scaner to read but i get this code reading p1382 Camshaft position (cmp) sensor no signal.

i did the ckf bypass trick but it didnt work still getting the code... i need it clear to pass inspection help!

If im not mistaken your camshaft position sensor is in your distributor and i don't think you can bypass that.
(code P1382 Cylinder position sensor no signal)
meaning that you have no signal going from that sensor to your ecu.
you might have a brake in the wire somewhere or not a good connection.
I would check for continuity in the wiring.

am i getting the code because theres no sensor near the oil pump? because its a jdm motor... the senor is in the dizzy correct? i still have the b20b dizzy, if I rewire that dizzy to fit the ls harness will you think it will clear the code?
