Default throwing a code 4 on a OBDI...crank sensor error?

i have a obd2 motor in my car but has been converted to obd1...it's throwing a crankshaft position sensor error CEL but i thought obd1 dont have that sensor. how can i get the CEL to go away?

Any rust in the dizzy, Code 4 is a common failing item-related code. As long as
your PGMFI relay is good, and the charging system is OK,
afraid it's gonna' be a distributor replacement, and take
my word for it, don't go aftermarket!! Replace with OE
ONLY!
Other wise you are going to need to hit up these guys on swap engines like yours, have you searched all the archives.

i actually just got a new distributor...yeah i checked all the threads and noone really had an answer
