Sorry all the signs sound like internal failure. Does your oil look milky or does your coolant of oil in it?

Is it leaking at all? Or is it actually burning?

did it suck your overflow bottle dry? there is probably just an air pocket in the cooling system since you just got your swap. It will eventually purge the air if you keep refilling the overflow bottle. Give it a week or so. Mine did the same thing

how long ago did you do the swap? have you tried flushing the coolant completely, and refilling...

if you don't see oil or any residue in your coolant, try refilling, like stated before it could be the air pockets. but if it continues to do this after a week. it just might be your head gasket...

what radiator are you using? i'm having similiar problems, my cars been running so so and runs very hot going uphill on freeways. i'm hoping it's since i'm using the stock cx radiator...

yeah, either you didnt fill up your radiator correctly and you are still purging air, or you have a blown headgasket.
