Default b20vtec timing mark problem & CAI question

Whats up everyone, I have had my b20vtec in my car for a month or so and it feels great, but my timing mark on the crank pulley is about 2-3 degrees off when I line up the timing marks for TDC. The crank pulley a first gen. b16a pulley so I thought that could have been a problem so I put on the b20 pulley and its a little better at 1-2degrees off. The motor it's self is a b16a head on a JDM b20b block with US b20 timing belt and water pump. Now I know this is not the biggest deal in the world cause 2 degrees is not really going to effect the motor but I would like to know first if anyone has had this problem and how did they fix it, what set up are they running with what t-belt w/p and crank pulley, and I would feel better if I could possibly get the timing marks right on so I know how I can adv. or retard timing. Oh ya if anyone could help and let me know which AEM cai will fit for my motor in my 93 civic b20vtec with ITR manifold? Thanks everyone

cant help you with the timing issue...mine seems ok
how are you using a b20 belt...i couldnt get mine to fit, it was too short
i am using a 95 gsr belt and water pump w/ stock usdm b20 pulley
lastly, i cant see why the stock application CAI wouldnt work

i would go for the ITR CAI, i think it is the biggest diameter, and will connect with ur TB the easiest!

good luck!

Yeah my t/belt and w/p are new and for a us b20. I had no problem fitting them on. Thanks you two for your insight. The reason I'm concerned is because the motor is pinging and would like to know exactly where my timing is.
