I drive on the CC Stage 5 unsprung and it's very easy to drive. Not much slippage but it's not a pain for stop and go traffic.

I'd rather it take more finesse to drive then to spit a spring and have to replace the clutch.

What kind of power are you looking for?

Id look into injector dynamics 1000cc injectors, and get a fuel pressure regulator. A wideband o2 sensor wouldnt be a bad idea either. Maybe a catch can setup.

Good luck

oh yeah, forgot about wideband lol that's something I'll definitely get, I'm my goal is 400 whp but realistically idk if I can hit that until I build my heads lol, I'd be happy with 350+. from what I've read stock FPR should be ok with the power I'm aiming for, anyone have any input on this?

as for tuning in terms of gauges will I only need a wideband and boost gauge to tune? i'm really pushin my budget so I figure I could get oil pressure/fuel pressure later

I'd recommend adding a VTEC head to the mix. The LS head flows like a dog.

What he said, but I haven't driven on it yet... Can't be any worse than the twin plate in the z06.... Talk about hard, try modulating all that torque at low rpm in traffic. Its a bitch

Thanks just saw that. I'd also recommend a mount kit over the mount inserts and essential gauges. Btw, Eagle rods already come with ARP bolts.

Yea the inserts are pointless... like bandaids are to a stab wound.

I might have missed it from the list but do you have a wastegate and blow off valve already?

oh okay, and yup turbo kit comes with bov manifold intercooler wastegate piping etc, should have everything for the turbo already. and yeah, I was going to use a GSR head, thanks for the tip about the eagle rods though...didn't realize they came with bolts already.

any reason the mount inserts are bad aside from vibrations?? i want to get hasport mounts but i'd rather spend the money on gauges to get a good tune and get the car running properly

lastly is my stock cooling system good? haven't really read much about aftermarket radiators except for that people get them cause they have fitment problems with the turbo..

and i think i've decided on a sprung clutch just cause from what i've read unsprung gives more shock to the tranny and this is more of a street car than a track car lol, i dont think id mind driving with the unsprung clutch tho, i'm just bummed out about the downside that it wear ur transmission parts more

you wont be able to run a full sized radiator.... so you'll need a half core
