ectune ebc solenoid ecu work?
Ok guys, I have downloaded the pdf about the electronic boost control solenoid, it says it requires the sk5151 (or equivalent) in the ic16 slot, and d13 1n4004. I understand that it says that this stuff may already be present in the ecu. My ecu is an auto so it does have the lock up transistors in ic16 and ic17, but it is a p06 so they are the sk5050s, i know that the sk5050s are not acceptable to use for vtec conversions in the ic15 slot, but do the sk5050s work for the ebc control? Also was wondering if you needed to still remove the resistors from rp17 and rp18 and jumper the rp18 back like you would normally do to convert it to a manual ecu, or does that disable the transistors at the ic area.
Thanks
Thanks
EBC control doesnt need any Sk5151s....you need PWM components (EGR circuit).

Thanks for the reply. Yes the way I understood it I need the PWM components to add that function to pin A11, but if I was looking to add the function to the A17 pin it only requires a diode at D13 and one of the SK5151 switches at IC16, am I reading that completely wrong?
