Hey guys gotta 98 civic hx d16y8 Found a garret complete turbo kit for 5 bills but i was wondering if it would be worth gettin it knowing my car has 240,000 miles is it worth gettin it and just workin on the motor down the road ? I wanna be able to push 10lbs of boost hopefully and 6psi average... Lemme kno.. I will be getting it tunned and injections and other things to help btw this will be a dd car

We need more info on the kit... your description sucks.
and psi doesnt matter..... what are your power goals for the car?

 

Deff need more info on th car. As for the motor with that many miles you need to check each cyclinder for compression because most likely you going to want and need new rings. As you may also be aware, adding a turbo is not as simple as it sounds and even with minimal boost you need to do it right the first time or you will be without a car.

 

Thought you were going to buy a different car?
