Default Is this P30 ECU chipped?

I bet these pop up a lot, I've searched around on a couple different websites, and haven't really found enough info to make me feel comfortable without asking someone with a little more knowledge. Here are some pics.

I ca see J1 has been messed with, but it looks like they pulled the jumper back off?

Sorry I couldn't get better pics, I can if someone can help.

Yes it has been modified to accept an alternate ROM chip. That is what the 28 pin socket is there for. However, the 4 pin CN2 connector for the datalogging circuit has not been added. Also there is no resistor in C92 where there should have been one added.

J1 has probably been pulled becuase they messed up the chipping procedure and left out a few resistors. The ECU was more than likely throwing a solid CEL all the time when the jumper was installed.

Are there resistors added to C49, C50 and C91 on the back? I can see that there isn't one in C92 and there should be.

c49 - no
c50 - no
c91 is in the last pic right? It's not the 20 pin? If its the spot next to it its empty as well

What can I do about getting it back to stock? or is it?

If the J1 is open (no jumper) your ECU should be running off the stock ROM chip.

it appears to be open, but as you can sorta see from the picture, someone did a very terrible job. Thanks for your help.

You're welcome! Hopefully they didn't mess up the ECU too badly.
