nothing special about the (1980-1502 board) P72/P75 boards. only difference is a lack of R54 (10k) resistor thats all.

74hc373, socket, jumper is still used.

check it out.

eg6ajk...Damn nice of you man anytime someone has an ecu question you hop right in there. A lot of guys in your position would just say "mail it to me and I'll chip it"

Kudos to you.

the jumper is on J1.. thats the one that looks like a resistor but only has 1 stripe

add the 1.1k ohm resistor next to it R54.
stick 2 0.1uF ceramic disc capacitors into C51 and C52.
add the 74HC373 and the 28 pin socket for the rom

J1 = jumper or 0 ohm resistor

one black stripe = 0 ohm resistor (jumper wire can be used or substitued with a computer pins & removable tab)
P74/p75/P72 does not have R54 location (btw. R54 used on 11FO and 1720 boards (obdi pr4/p06/p28/p30/p61/p91) uses a 10K ohm resistor - brown/black/orange/gold (5%))

you can also use a piece of the wire from your resistor for the jumper
you dont need the capacitors or resistors

you can also go to hondata.com site and there is instructions

click on Downloads, go to installation manual (pdf file) and go to page 8 for obd-0 and page 9 for obd-1
