Icon2 Need Help With CO2 boost controller!!!!!

Whats goin on, i need a little help with my time based boost controller. Im usin CO2 and its a innovate controller. If i can remember i have a low spring rate in my WG. Its a single 46mm WG,topmount, 6766 turbo, car made 800+ @30 psi...

I went to test n tune lastnight, Car was setup with 24.5x9 MT @5.5lbs brand new, gsr tranny with 4.2 FD, ..... Now heres the problem.. I have heard of this system searching for boost and adding like 10psi more, or the system not activating.. What CO2 pressure should the bottle be at? I have mine at 50psi bottle pressure

Settings on the controller were timed based in 1 second intervals 14psi, 18psi, 24psi, 28psi, and 32Max boost. I found that setting my boost targets like that was wayyyy toooo much. Car spun 1-3rd gear. 1.7 60'ft

What type of luck have you had with your CO2 boost controller, or how is your's setup. Time based or gear based. or Should i just use my s300 BBG again?

Thanks

Are you using nlr?

The value being added + spring of wastegate. Maybe that is why youre overboosting.

Co2 is added on top of wastegate.

I used that BC years ago.. It "hunts" for boost bad but it does work ok. It is hard to beat the S300 BBG.

If I was going to use that BC again I would put the map sensor in the top port of the wastgate to measure the pressure like the NLR... Alot more accurate that way.

Yea i've heard it hunts for boost... Damn also i was told that it was overboosting due to too much bottle pressure. Well back to Hondata BBG, we didnt have a problem until we installed that controller.

Thanks for feedback guys appreciate it alot..

Aight Miller, goin back to the hondata BBG, what settings psi wise should i start with? I know every setup is different. But im thinking sumthan like 1-4th 14, 19, 25, 31 as an example. Gsr tranny W/ 4.2 FD, 24.5x9 tire, and 860whp.... or even 12, 17, 26, 31

Thanks for the help just tryning to go fast hahaha...
