Default no speedo after driving with vss unclipped?

weird I changed the trans oil and unclipped the sensor but then decided to just use the fill hole. drove off and noticed no speedo, O-k plug in the clip. still no speedo ??? anyway now the speedo doesnt work on any of my ecu's the fuse is fine idk how thats possible?

my current ecu throws a code for traction control id like to know if there is any affect on power because of that? I dont want to run a stock ecu if anyone reading knows

1998 ek hatch 1996 gsr swap stock with 3 computers. currently on a p28/ gsr program, have obd2 p72 and a p30

When you turn the key from off to ON(II), does the charging system light (battery symbol) turn on and stay on?

i took the 3 philips head screws off and pulled the sensor, its a spring with a top that spins on the sensor plate which has a spinner and a T which goes into the trans which spins with the wheels. all installed properly. the clip has voltage like 3v. so wtf. im going to pull another one and hope itll fit from a teg. they look different.

the battery light stays out. no CEL.

.... pissed.

Those VSS can be tricky sometimes if you just re-install it it'll work just fine.

These^ two pieces of information are consistent with 7.5A dash fuse 15 being blown.

The diagrams you posted are for 92-95 Civics. The OP has a 98 Civic.
