Speedometer doesn't work please help
Hey guys i picked up a 98 Civic Hatch
It came with the speedometer not working.
Ive been reading about some fixes and still have nothing.
things i have done.
Check for voltage on the plug on the vss.
I got a 4.5-4.9 volt rating from the power wire
and a 0 from the ground
I swapped the VSS with a used one and still got nothing.
Im not sure im all out of idea please i need some input thanks in advance

Re: Speedometer doesn't work please help (ONEhaque)
same thing was wrong with my car when i bought it. it wasnt the speed sensor that was bad, it was actually the connector going into the speed sensor. it was all chewed up inside. so my friend had an extra harness laying around and we just cut off the connector and soddered it up to my harness. doesnt look the best but it works
