how to connect external wastegate
hi all i'm confused now cause i searched where to connect my wastegate to the intake or on the IC piping and a few say on the in take and some others say not to connect on the intake ...
cause i had it on the IC piping but i know a guy who owns a fast honda and his wastegate was conected to the intake so i changed mine to...
what do you guys say?? on the intake or on the IC piping.

One port of the MBC to the side (signal) port on the wastegate. The other port on the MBC goes to vacuum. I personally have a barb in my charge piping just after the turbo that I used.

Some use the intake as a reference point as it shows the true PSI after pressure drop from piping and intercooler.

Yeah thats just another port for your Boost control, i believe if youhave a manual boost controller the lower port is used and if you have an electronic one that the top one is used.. I could be wrong correct me if I am
while both can be used, wastegate manufactuers will recommend the boost only source, this way the wg diaphragm doesn't ever have vaccumm applied to it.
an MBC will tee into the bottom port, while an EBC used both top and bottom ports.

its up to Manufactuers spec, where the boost control and WG where it needs to be applied
