I may be needing a basemap/p28 chipped and what not for my car. really wanting to get rid of my fmu (i know i know, but i dont beat on the car or anything)
where is the right place to go? no one in my area does anything b/c no one has one

Once you remove the fmu you will need to run a standard 1:1 fuel regulator and the correct size injectors & fuel pump.
You will also need to either find another stock map sensor or make a block off for where the current map sensor is. The reason for this is due to the map sensor needing to run off a vacuum line on the back of the supercharger so that it can see positive manifold pressure.
Concerning ecu chipping & pre-chipped ecus, there are several vendors.
You are more then welcome to check my signature :-)

Hi I have a d16z6 with a jsrc. Socket p28 ECU. Map sensor
moved to after charger. I used a base map found on the net.
It for 1.6z6. Jsrc with rc 440 injectors. Now the car runs 10.3:1.
I m still trying to figure it out. So becarefull were you get your base from.
But I'm sure you know that.

well no two motors are exactly the same. Maybe your SC isn't pushing as much air as the original car as the basemap was on. Who Knows? Also a basemap is exactly that, a BASE map.
I know the basemap that came with my S300 was the same way and I am also in process of taking away some fuel to get my A/F ratios out of that 10:1 rich area. get a wideband and start logging to get your set up running right.
