Blk intercooler isn't flashy...is it? Intercooler in the bumper isn't the only option.
300whp on a juiced poormans is not a very practical power goal.
Boost it dude.

ok so im pretty much set on going boosted due too popular beleive thats what i figured would happen so is a stock rebuild ok for lets say 10 psi?? = 300 maybe can i do only low compression pistons with arp rod bolds head studs ?? vs sleeves and rods since its expensive ...... what is a quality inexpensive brand i can maybe look at websites? i also have a extra gsr crank i can start to work on since its out feather edge? reduce weight?? i would also like too see known good setups with there build cost i cant seem too find any with search also ill be doing either black or top mound intercooler maybe meth injection ?? thanks alot dudes
Also a random thaught lets say if i do arp blods ctr pistons and idk a 100 shot from a 300 doller used kit? how much hp would i be looking at ? just a random thaught and would like input
Lets get your engine built 1st before dreaming of magic numbers

Forget about all the forged this that and the other, use your gsr block with stock gsr rods and stock gsr pistons, and your b16 head, thats 9.8:1 c/r, perfectly fine for boost. The stock internals will handle 300 whp boosted no problem.
Wow BOOSTED D thats exactly what i wanted too know thanks alot but i live down the street from do it dyno and theres tons of other good tuning shops around here regardless ill be spending my 300 dollers for a tune and use chrome or something ??? prices? with p 28 once im done with the build
sorry for all the questions but why can some motors rev higher than others? i like the thaught of a high reving motor thats why i went with poor mansetup
Yes you can make 300 whp safely on stock internals and with 91 octane.
Some motors are able to rev higher because they are built that way, stronger valve springs and retainers etc.
If the head you have really does have dual valve springs and titanium retainers, and when you do the rebuild you use ARP rod bolts and headstuds, your motor should have no problem reving to 9000 rpm.
The question is going to be, will it make power up that high, you have to understand that just reving higher wont make more power, sometimes you lose power when reving too high, but that is something that can be played with on the dyno when it gets tuned.
How much boost is needed to make 300 whp depends on what turbo you use, the bigger it is, the less boost (psi) it needs to make power, but also the bigger it is, the more Lag time you have, so you have to find a happy medium.
A 50 trim t3/t4E will probably fit your needs very well, it can make 300 whp no problem on that motor, but will still spool up pretty well.
Check out a garrett 50 trim t3/t04E or a precision 5431 ( same thing) Please for the love of god dont buy a chineese $200 turbo from ebay, you will regret it.

ok so it can handle it fine u say would i really need to invest in arp? how much is arp? and what bolts do i need or not need? how much do these t3's run for? no one has gave me any input on what psi ?? and how much psi the gsr can handle
Omg dude read the faq first, it will answer most of your questions and save you time by not having to wait for your answers here.
