Default Help, Honda Scene.

Hey all. I have a b16 swapped eh3 (nothing special) and i plan on moving out of this small town into somewhere with more of a car scene. Somewhere in the northwest (oregon, idaho, washington)

There is no car scene at all where i live right now, im very open to suggestions...

Maybe shouldnt be in tech forum, but its about cars, and, also, im curious where the good tuning shops around the northwest are, that would be nice to have where i lived.

(Sounds, odd, i know, but i have a job that i work every other month, so i can live anywhere really :S)

Believe it or not, thats where my job is. Well, Near Sacramento.

But i cant live there, the emissions laws and such would drive me nuts. I live in Idaho, we dont even test emissions, cops dont pop hoods, its..... laid back

Id stay here, but no car scene at all, no honda people, its no fun. id love to live somewhere with people to help inspire.

albuquerque nm has a pretty decent honda scene and you can get around the emissions stuff if you live in rio rancho (it borders albuquerque to the north)

The scene in IL is a good size, but outside of Cali there isn't a whole lot going on the west coast.

Honestly, I dunno how your situation is working in CA every other month, but I don't see why you don't stay down there and leave your cars registered from where you are now.

Thought you couldnt move there and leave vehicles registered in another state?

Cali living expenses are high, from what i hear.

Rent where im at now is like 750 for a nice 3 bedroom. W/S/G paid.

Seattle has a great car scene i hear.

Forumla Drift is amazing, went to it last august, plan to go again.

Spokane has a little car scene, but no one i know is on H-T. The kids ive met in the area arent very.... car oriented. Got a lot of 'i bought it this way' or 'i dont know what that is' kinda talk.

Talked to a buy with a boosted lude, all he knew was the brand of the kit he was running, and that he was running 9 lbs. Didnt know trim size, injector size, who tuned it, anything.

Stuff like that, drives me nuts. Like to meet people who at least know their car.
