B20 vtec leaking oil from oil filter help!!!!
Brand new b20 vtec build. I'm using a prosport oil sandwich plate for oil feed and oil pressure gauge. Car leaks from what I can tell, where oil filter and sandwich are from the bottom. Tried everything but still leaking?
Yes, I check to make sure there isn't an extra gasket stuck on block.
This is the current config- Block/hondabond/gasket/sandwich plate/oil filter ( no leaks from op or oil feed)
Tried two different sandwich plates which are prosport and gloshift. Yeah I know they are the same sh it. Same results...
Is there a gasket on the oil holder bettween the block??? Going to try if hex bolt is tight on to block next and have a Greddy oil sandwich plate coming in. Other then that no clue on why it keeps leakin?????? Any help will be appreciated !!!!!

It's probably leaking because you used HondaBond on a place where it didn't need it. The gasket is there to keep oil from leaking.
It's meant to go on and to screw an oil filter on, not very hard to understand.

At this point I definatly would try an install without the HondaBond, you don't put HondaBond on your oil filter gasket, so why would the sandwitch plate need it?
Question for OP, have you cleaned off the area and checked to see exactly where the oil is coming from, if not, you should do that. 94

No oil cooler. New sandwich and new filter. It's definetly leaking from where sandwich plate mates to block. I cleaned block with dremel of all hondabond. Lot better with new sp and of but don't know why it's leaking still? Oil filter folder screw is tight also..
