Default Question about Momo Mod 8

Anyone have one of these in their ITR? I really like the look of the yellow, and think it would match the PY nicely.

Also, how annoying is the SRS light when you have a non airbag wheel installed?

Looks like a nice wheel, as for the SRS light, that's just something you'll have to get used to..its not bad

Pull the SRS plug on the back of the cluster to turn the light off.

Craig - Who just did this a couple weeks ago.

Yup, I just put my momo wheel on. Takes 2 secs to pull the cluster and the light. I think ima get the cdm passenger air bag delete too. So that way my passengers will die too.

My R has a wheel that looks fairly close to the same unit as the momo above.

Ha, I didn't think of that. I actually don't have a picture with the full interior but I do have a track vid with the wheel + interior.

i have the mod 8 in my gsr and its a great wheel but the only thing i dont like about it, is that it puts the wheel a little bit closer to you. Wouldnt be so bad but my arms are a little longer.

i also have itr recaros, nrg hub and qucik release.... this all makes a difference.

Thanks for the heads up. Over the stock wheel, about how much closer does it sit now? I plan on getting the quick release and hub, but on stock USDM seats

because of the shape of the wheel.... i would guess maybe 1-2.5" closer to you.

i have to take the wheel off just to get into the car.
Between the larger seat bolsters and the bottom of the wheel its tough to get in and out.

Maybe I should look into a wheel that isn't so deep dish. But thanks alot man. This support has def helped.

I'm thinking something like this wont sit so close:

I think my car is super easy to get in out of?

I have jdm recaro's as well and I'm 6', 180lbs. I don't have a quick release, but I may get one in the future because I want the wheel in my lap. Maybe something thats different is that I always drive with two hands in the ITR
