Default b16a da9 problems ecu question

sup guys.,
i got a b16a in my 90 integra gs., converted 2 obd1. the ecu is a gsr ecu, but it had been chipped.
my car started bogging down in lower rpms only with no cel.
so when i was under the car i noticed there was a green plug with a broken sensor plugged into it on the back side of the block just hanging there,.
any one have an idea if a chipped ecu will hide CEL codes? cause i aint throwing anything.

how many pin is the sensor? could be a knock sensor

here's an idea; unplug the sensor and see what code it throws

my jdm pr3 wont throw 02 sensor code on my b16b, is there any power gain if you do a obd1 or 2a conversion? i have a civic r ecu that came with my swap.

the conversion itself isn't going to net any gains. it only enables you to run a different pcm and single o2 sensor.
the different pcm/tune may net you some power
