Is there a easy way 2 get more turbo boost
Ok im new 2 the turbo game. I wanna know if there is a quick easy way 2 get more boost. I have an external wastegate at 5psi spring... I was told 2 plug the top hole of the wastegate and run the vac straight 2 the manifold and slice the vac line will that work ?
I don't know much about turbos but I have the feeling you should ignore whoever told you that. Sounds like they're sending you on a quick path to blowing your engine. Get a stiffer spring for the wastegate and have the car retuned.
Are your engine internals built? Do you have an upgraded fuel pump / injectors? Just throwing on more boost is a good way to sideline the car so be careful.
If you want to up the boost, though, you can get a MBC (manual boost controller) or a stiffer wastegate spring. Both are relatively inexpensive. An EBC is usually a more accurate option but much pricier.
I would get a good boost gauge to make sure you know where you're setting it at and don't exceed what your engine internals can handle.

Just unhook the vac. line to the wastegate, Unlimited mad tyte booost and like 5000 hp yo. You will stomp everyone in the streets.....or at least blow up your motor then learn about how turbo's work before you start doing stupid ****...
Yeah be sure the car has larger injectors and a 255lph fuel pump and is tuned of the motor is not last long at all.
You can shim the waste gate by putting some washers behind where the waste gate bolts to the turbo, you may need longer bolts depending on how much you space it out. This works by letting the waste gate actuator open later thus more boost. Good for a few more psi, its an old DSM trick. You need to tune it for the extra boost.
The best way is to either get a stiffer waste gate spring and or a boost controller.

Yes there is....Get a Cheap Manual boost controller and run it inline with the lower wastegate port. YOu dont need another spring unless you dont plan on running any vacum lines to the wastegate, In that case it would just run off the Wastegate spring rate.
Depends how much boost you plan on running. If youre looking for alot more then 10-15psi you would need a stiffer spring

I used a Turbo XS MBC on my MK3 Supra with the stock turbo and waste gate. Stock boost was 7 psi and I ran is up to the fuel cut at 12 psi on race days and 10-11 on the streets. It worked great and was under $80. Being a stock turbo car the fuel injectors and ECU could handle the extra boost with out issues plus I ran a MK4 TT Supra fuel pump and an adjustable FPR. On a Honda you need to have a tune done.

So no tune you have a base map basically. I would not push it too hard and stay off the boost, at least dont hit peak boost even though it is only 5psi. If you have a wideband and your AF is fine then you will be ok to boost a bit until it is tuned.
Don't play around and then not have an engine to get tuned next motnh. Any and all questions like this you should ask of your tuner. You really need to make your tuner your best friend since this will be the person responsible for making or breaking(literally) your build.
this is what i was getting at if you arent tuned this is the only thing at this point that you can do to get more power
other than that you are just waiting to go pop

He said hes driving on his other block right now, while his other block with "eagal" not eagle rods and what not is being built. So I dont think hes gonna take much advise since he has that spare motor. Its probably going to blow up and he will be without the car for a bit until he changes blocks. The OP has all the information needed, now its up to him to use it.
considering you have a 5psi spring in the gate, I would get a regulator style boost controller and send regulated boost reference to the top of the wastegate.
