[Help] Horn problem after wiring car alarm to the stock horn
Hey Honda-Tech, I have a 94 Civic EX Coupe,
Earlier I was wiring my car alarm to the stock horn.
I wired the brown(Horn output) wire straight to the blue/red wire.
It works, but it was REALLY quiet. Then after a few more times using it, it stopped working. The horn still works if you manually press on it using the steering wheel, but not with the alarm remotes.
Any ideas?
Did I blow a fuse?
Did I use the wrong wire?
Do I need a relay?

the horn output isnt giving enough juice or the connection to the blu/red horn wire is not good. i just finished my viper 5704 alarm and the horn output is wired directly to the blu/red, whatever the case is you might need a relay. get a 5 prong spdt relay at your auto store and wire as shown

30 to chassis ground
87 to vehicle horn wire
85 to constant 12v(+)
86 to alarm horn output (-)
