Day 1 of turbo install on SOHC with t-25 was a disater.
I had one fucked up day today, day 1 of turbo install.....and I thought it would be easy. I had planned to just mount the manifold and turbo and run the oil lines, and be done for the day. Tough chance. First, the custom manifold didn't fit perfectly so I had to spend an hour trying to drill out the one hole that didn't fit right, so it would match up with the turbo. Then I was having trouble drilling through the plate I made to block off the external wastegate. Then it took me an hour to find the right wrench to take out the oil pressure sensor. And after I got the sensor out, the T fitting that jegs told me would work, DIDN'T ******* FIT!!!!!
So I went to AUTO ZONE and got an adapter that would work for just the oil line and I'd deal with an oil dummy light till I got the right T fitting, well that one didn't work because there was this huge thing of wires that wouldn't move and there wasn't enough room to put the stainless steel line on! Then my work closed so I had to clean up all my tools I had out and push my car to the parking lot, and on top of that I got bitched at by the owner TWICE after my boss told me it was ok to work on my car as long as I wasn't working on it during my scheduled hours.
But I did manage to get all the manifold bolts off without any trouble (my friend with a 1g eclispe snapped 4 of the 9 bolts), and I found a 90 degree fiting that will work for now at ACE hardware store. Hopefully tommorow will go alot smoother.
Thanks for listening to my rant,
Nick

Sorry to hear that, just take it easy, do it correct so you wont have problems. IT does stink, but once you drive it for the first time its alllll worth it.
P.S. In your sig you have type 34 IC, Greddy makes the type 24 (big) AND TYPE 31 still big, but not as big as the type 24.

Whoops, I'll make sure I change that little mess-up. thanks for catching that. lol
Yeah I know it will be worth it, but I just hope tommorow goes alot smoother.
