ok so i had my turbo rebuilt by evergreen turbo co. and i have everything done right on my car and it leaks oil even at idle...alot...so i called the guy who rebuilt it and told him...he took it back apart and looked everything over real good and told me it was fine...i get home and duh same thing...i thought that maybe i had crankcase pressure, but i took my return line off and just let the oil run into a bucket and the turbo still leaked...ive got 102thousands of oil feed, the turbo requires 93, but i figured a little more couldnt hurt, especially since ive been running just a straight -4 and have never had a problem...the turbo never leaked before he rebuilt it and now i cant drive my car...PLEASE HELP!!!

 

Pics of the leakage? Maybe the oil return line?

 

the leakage is coming from the hotside of the turbo...straight out of the exhaust. and my return line is more than big enough and has no kinks and is placed above the oil level...ive got all the basics covered...i just want to know if its the turbo thats bad...the guy said its fine, but it pours oil

 

its leaking out the hot side? did yuo prime your turbo when you put it back on

 

yes its leaking on the exhaust side of the turbo. and yes i primed the turbo. i had someone hold the wheel so it wouldnt spin when i started it

 

Maybe its time for a new turbo

 

new turbo or you blew an oil seal and the guy lied to you
