Default Tightening up your steering

Anyone know how to adjust the steering rack in any way to tighten up the steering? i haven't done much work with steering stuff...but any advise would be appreciated. my steering wheel just feels too light and i would like it to be a little harder to turn and not so sensitive.

The helms has something concerning this. I checked it out before. I could not figure out what it was telling me

Some manufacturers sell underdrive pulleys for power steering. This may be a conderation.

Won't this make it suck to turn at low speeds?
To experiment, could I just take off the belt at first...or will this hurt anything?

so it really won't hurt anything if i just remove the belt and that's it? i kinda just assumed that if i removed the belt then the fluid would still circulate normally...but the pump just would not be engaged to make the rack move more freely. i just want some more force needed to turn my wheel.
