idle problem
i just got new wires for my b16 and sometimes the car wants to turn off like it has no idle when i brake or stop i have to keep my foot on the gass it acrts liek it has no idle it only act fine sometimes any ideas the car drops to 0 rpm and turns off most of the tims enless i keep my foot on the gas
well my idle is fine....when it's been driving for a couple mins. but when i start hot it'll just die unless i keep my foot on teh gas, and when it's started cold, after a minute or two, when i blip the throttle to drop the revs it'll die...or come really close to dying, then slowly go up to a high cold idle.
spoon2 that is my EXACT problem i think it is my throttle cable holder and my idle adjustment screw moves by its self it worked good for a lil when i adjusted it but i hate it when it wants to die

try putting back your old wires and see if it wants to die out. if it doesn't die out, something is wrong with the new wires. if it does, some sort of vacuum leak, or idle screw needs adjusting (make sure u unplug the iacv sensor first), or check the throttle cable if it's tight enough.
