Unscrew the idle adjusting screw located on the TB a bit to increase the idle speed.

well my idle is fine....when it's been driving for a couple mins. but when i start hot it'll just die unless i keep my foot on teh gas, and when it's started cold, after a minute or two, when i blip the throttle to drop the revs it'll die...or come really close to dying, then slowly go up to a high cold idle.

fast idle valve, idle nut or vacuum leak can do that

I got the problem after installing a new cam...but after a day or two I put on new wires too, odd.

try putting back your old wires and see if it wants to die out. if it doesn't die out, something is wrong with the new wires. if it does, some sort of vacuum leak, or idle screw needs adjusting (make sure u unplug the iacv sensor first), or check the throttle cable if it's tight enough.
