ok so i have a 96 civic with a ls/vtec setup but i need a harness i been looking EVERYWHERE for a 96-98 civic ex 5speed harness but all i have came across is a 96-98 civic ex auto harness... my question is will it work and do i have to change anything?? thanks for any help i'm kinda sumped

 

you would have to use the harness/ecu according to the setup. i dont know much about harnesses, but i would the think the y8(96-98 ex) plugs wouldnt work nor work with the ecu. just my two cents. theres alot of pros on here so someone will eventually give u the 411

 

yes it will work . you will have to convert the iacv from 3 wire to 2 wire and you will have extra plugs and i think you have to move the reverse lights

 

ok thanks for the help.. some guy told me over the phone yesterday i would just have an extra plug but i dont think he understood the reason i needed it lol
