96 EX wire harness question

I know that you need a 96-98 Civic EX wire harness for a gsr swap but
but does it matter if it's a harness from an automatic or 5 speed?

u can use it but u gotta repin some stuff so the iacv will work properly.

I thought you don't have to repin anything when you're using a 96-98 civic ex wire harness?

I just wanted to know if the wire harness for automatics and manuals are the same.

negative, all 96-up automatics had the 3 wire iacv.
