Earlier today i put a b20b in my ek and wired everything up. Well i went to start it and it runs really rough, its like its misfing, ias far as im aware all the sensor plugs are in the right place, any and all help is appreciated, thanks

 

CEL codes? Plug wires in correct firing order?

 

Wires are right and only cel is o2 sensor

 

Are you using the correct ECU?

How old are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

Have you checked the mechanical timing and cylinder compressions?

 

Timings good i drove the teg i took it out of yesterday into my garage, im not sire how old tey are tbh i took them off a ls engine

 

so did you take out the b18b you just put in and couldn't get running ?

 

Nope it had a rod knock but it did the same thing as the b20. I took the im and dizzy off the ls and put it on the b20

 

Bad distributor? --> inspect and test it.

 

Still didn't say what ECU.

 

Iused the dizzy and wires off the ls and its a p75

 

well if they both did the same thing it's wiring or dizzy

 

do you have the map and tps plugs in the right place? they're the exact same plugs and people connect them wrong all the time.
