Port on top left of valve cover
D15B7 non vtec engine.
There is a port on the top left of the valve cover. It has a hose that connects to the intake. Is this normal? And is it suppose to have a vacuum when I pull it off the intake?

The hose being there is normal. There should be no vacuum coming out of it.

I appreciate your advice but I will do what I please. And if I choose to ask on honda-tech because I dont have access to my manuals at the moment then I will. Thanks.
And do you know how hard it is to see pictures on a 2 x 1 1/2 inch screen? I chose what it easiest and most convinient for me. Im sorry that you have a problem with that.
Perhaps next time they'll choose the easiest and most convenient option and not provide you with an answer.

I think your referring to the breather port. All engines have them, so it is obvious its normal to have them. Try running your engine and remove the oil filler cap. It is there to equalize to atmospheric pressure the engine internals and vent of air, vaporized oil, smoke or whatever is leaking in your piston rings and valves. The vapors then goes to the cylinders to be burned.
