91 SI tranny wont shift in reverse

Default 91 SI tranny wont shift in reverse

i recently did a 5 speed swap in my 89 hatch and at first the tranny shift through all gears put it in reverse tested it it worked couple min later i went to take it out and it wouldnt go in reverse i thought it was my b*tch pin cause it was half broke so i replaced it and it work for one try then stoped now i cant get it into reverse at all its like hitting a wall but the car drives fine ??? idk what to do anyone got anything?

If it worked before, re check all your linkages. That's going to be the most likely problem.

i think it might be the shift fork so im going to retear the tranny out and open it up cause its like its just hitting a brickwall no give at all
