my laptop cant seem to load my ECU onto the smanager when i plug the usb in with the key on. Its an Acer Aspire with windows 7 ultimate edition. trying to get my car to idle but i cant load my map onto the ecu. seems like something is up with the usb driver for the s300 but i cant seem to figure it out. any help is appreciated

 

have you tried updating your smanager. also are you able to datalog or anything with the smanager

 

i download the software straight from the website so it should be the most recent one. i cannot do anything because Smanager doesnt even see my ecu being plugged in. it worked on my buddy's laptop but i cant always depend on his.

 

Did you install the drivers from the smanager software? You have to do that before the copmuter will see the ecu. When it asks you where to find the driver, tell the computer to look the in the smanager files. Not look on the internet.

 

Read the Smanager help file.
If you can't figure it out contact the dealer you bought the system from for technical support.
