Im posting this here because every boosted honda gets tuned, most are on Hondata. Im having boost problems on an EP3 and i want to download the tune i have on my KPro ECU onto my laptop (so i can save it for later, buy new turbo and upload again) and upload the factory base EP3 map tune and run all motor for some months.
My EP3 was tuned a while ago, its on version 1.3.7.0

My ECU and lap top arent hooking up 100%. How do i upgrade the ecu so my laptop which is on the latest version 3.1.5.0 or something like that. The error reads...

**The calibration in the ECU (1.3.7.0) is from an older version of KManager. Please upgrade the ECU calibration before datalogging from this ECU.**

How do i take care of this issue. It gives me the error but not a "upgrade here button" type of thing.

did you search in the help in the smanager? usually has answers to most questions in there. im nto too familiar with kpro so not sure how. hope this helps some

Because calibrations are stored independently from the program code for the ECU, program changes for the ECU are automatically applied whenever when you upload a calibration to an ECU.



To update a calibration in an ECU:

1. Load the calibration file into SManager

2. Upload the calibration into the ECU. Any ECU program changes are automatically applied.

have you tryed to get a copy of the old version from the hondata forum
then download your map
then you can up grade every thing safely

this is why i keep a usb flash drive hidden with my hondata
in the car with my maps and software version on it

I cant find the old version anywhere?? I need that or update the ECU Calibration... I cant uploaf anything or make any changes..

might be a dum question
but do you still have the install cd for the kpro
older version that came with it might get it from the ecu

Dont have the original CD or anything for the K-Pro. But i did find the original for the S300.. Cant find original K box..
