why does my skunk2 camber kit keep loosening while driving
only the passenger side keeps loosening up how is this possible is it actually jumping the threads?? or is it just spinning around loosening itself its the 88-00 civic ones
I wouldn't go so far as to say that. I've been running them for years without any issues. A year ago I had a really hard hit in the tire wall during a road race (side and rear) at 140 km/h and the uca's didn't budge... maintained alignment. Mind you these are the newer pro series balljoints that adjust from below.
the lower model ones arent the best quality..this isnt a secret.
try the better version. I have heard they perform alot better.
personally, i have buddy clubs and work flawlessy

Are there lock nuts on each end of the arm to stop it from rotating and changing camber? I would scrap those unless S2 replaced the bushings with another material... those were definitely garbage bushings.
Take a picture of the arm so we can see.

its just backing itself out its not jumping threads cuz i tightend it up to the exact same spot as it was but this time i tightened the locking nut better i think.. well c in 2 days
Did have a shop install it?
no i had to take one off because i need more negative camber.. i had both the nuts off before with no problems but too much camber so i put one back on.. idk.. the other side is fine well c what happens
So it's installed improperly and you're wondering WHY it's malfunctioning? Jeez.
you have more room on the other side. so move the adjuster and locking nuts toward the outside of the car.
and the above post is win.
why would you need more neg camber? Rcomps?
