i'm changing my mtf fluid, i've always filled it back up from one of the bottom plugs and i know theres a way to do it from the top i'm just wondering if this little plug is it?? (engine and tranny are B18C)

 

No use the fill hole on the side of the trans.

 

yeah thats the one i've always used i was just wondering if there was an easier way to fill it up

 

You can use the speed sensor hole if you take it out.

cant remember exactly... unplug it, then 2 10mm bolts i believe.

 

^^ correct on the speed sensor. but for the risk of breaking it I would just fill it from the reg. fill plug my .02

 

Filler hole is on the passenger axle end, facing the wheel.
It's only proper way to fill it.

It's very easy with a funnel and a small hose on the end of it. Fill it till it pours out.
Make sure the car is level.

OK I was about to ask how much fluid does it take but it was answered I hope correctly.

I just swapped a gsr into my hatch

 

Use the fill hole. It's super easy, I broke my vss piece when I tried that. Plus imo vss isn't as accessible.

 

yeah i guess i'll keep doing it that way, i had heard there was another way and was just curious as to see if it was easier
